Ya girl has been busy hehe

The last day or so has been… slightly unhinged.

I had an idea.

About 14 hours later, that idea had somehow become a fully functioning web application.

For a long time, I’ve maintained the Cult’s internal blacklist manually. It worked, but it involved spreadsheets, messages, and a fair amount of admin wrangling.

So I thought…

“What if I just built it properly?”

…and then I couldn’t stop until it existed.

Introducing…

🩷 The Cúm Cult Checker

The project now includes:

🩷 Individual member accounts

🩷 Secure verification that you own the Lovense account you’re requesting access for

🩷 Human approval before access is granted

🩷 Secure password hashing (not even I can see your password)

🩷 Search logging for accountability

🩷 A searchable version of the Cult’s internal blacklist

There were moments where I was wrestling with DNS records, SSL certificates, custom domains, password managers deciding random text boxes were login forms, and discovering that browsers have very strong opinions about the word “username.” 😅

But…

It’s alive.

Things already on the roadmap:

✨ Direct Lovense authentication, so changing your mood message for verification won’t be necessary.

✨ A review request system, allowing approved members to submit usernames they’d like me to investigate. Submitting a name won’t automatically add anyone to the blacklist. It simply begins the review process.

✨ Cúm Raid integration, allowing you to submit your Cúm Raid profile directly through the website to join the Raid queue.

Right now I’m running a small preview while I polish the last few behind-the-scenes details and gather feedback from early users.

Once I’m confident everything is polished and stable, I’ll open it up more broadly to the cummunity.

This isn’t affiliated with Lovense or an official platform feature. It’s simply something I built because I thought our cummunity deserved better tools.
